rag joint & shocks
Going to replace the rag joint tomorrow. Any tips or tricks I need to know before I start ????
Only place I could find one online was from Advance for $30. Seems like a fair price, but I'm suprised I couldn't find it at NAPA or Autozone to compare !!!! Also gonna put on new shocks. Just want a reliable "low cost" shock,,,,,,monroe or gabriel ?????

Re: rag joint & shocks
I had to break the collum losse under the dash and at the firewall on my 72.I did not have enough room to get the ragjoint out. Its not hard to do.

Re: rag joint & shocks
DEFINATELY Monroe or NAPA...Same shock. NAPA has a cheap line called response. It is decent. For some more money, the Sensa-tracs are great shocks.
I assume this is a 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive? BTW, hi neighbor. A little cold and snowing at your house?
