New to board...

Hello from Northern California...This seems like a great board and i'v been lurking here for a while and the knowledge of folks here is awsome!! I'm in the process of pulling my 70 C10 sb out of storage and dusting her off after several years and i'm finally at a point where I can restore it the way I want too....Can anyone recommend a good body/paint man in the San Jose/South Bay area??Thanks for any help!!

Welcome to the board, and a Woo Pig Sooie, from Arkansas.

I ain't got a clue as to who you need to see. Get some issues of Classic Trucks Magazine, Street Trucks, Truckin', Truck Builder, etc. They have a habit of featuring trucks that have been built by different builders in Cal, and other states.

There are plenty of suppliers in your area. Ask them. Check with Early Classic Enterprises. They're a very helpful bunch of folks, even if you don't buy anything. They make and sell a very good disc to drum conversion, and they have a lot of expertise in this body style. I'm sure they'll be glad to offer you some suggestions.

Thanks for the welcome...It's a 70 C/10 with a bone stock 350..Saginaw 3sp on the floor with power steering. I purchased the truck from the original owner with 20k on a rebuild...Has some issues with some surface rust that was covered up with a cheep paint job but nothin major ....the truck sat the last 5 or 6 years with the guy I bought it off of..And after several months of buggin him he let me buy it..The only options were 3/4 ton springs front and back...runs and drives great bu the wireing is shot and I'm in the process of battling that right now....soon to be torch red inside and out with black interior door panels ,dash and seat...(i'm going to stay with a bench) Thanks again!

I hope the attachment comes thru...
