Yes...Wife said fix her up...My truck of course.
My wife has finally agreed that maybe I should fix up my truck...if...I get rid of all the antiques that I have. I have collected antiques for about 20 years and I'd much rather drive my truck then look at antiques made from the 1700's-1800's.This being the case I will be visiting Mr. Ebay soon as I have lots of goodies to sell to help with my fix. I have been waiting to sell my antiques once I got the go ahead. I have learned that a husband can be right...or....a husband can be happy. Life is good!!!

Congrats on the go-ahead... We sold all of our antiques at auction in '98 when I retired. I only regret selling a couple of things. I'm not saying we had a lot of stuff but we had to have two auctions.... LockDoc

Re: Yes...Wife said fix her up...My truck of course.
I have had two hobbies that I really enjoy. The collecting of Primitive Antiques is one and the other, are old cars and trucks (40-70's). I have collected Primitives for over 20 years. Most items are wrought iron tools, hand made coffee ginders, coffee roasters...I have a Mortar And Pestel made from cypress that weighs about 125lbs & stands about 3 feet tall, which was also hand made. (This was found in an old log cabin outside Atlanta.) The items I have collected are getting very hard to locate now a days. My son really likes my truck so I have decided to fix up the truck and then pass it on down to my son. I will use the proceeds from the antiques to help offfset some of my expenses to fix up the truck. My wife also thinks the truck is more practicle than antiques. I might keep a few choice pieces and sell the rest. This being the case I have a window of opportinity so let the rebuild begin.
