Friday Progress...
Well.. I took yesterday off.. cleaned out the garage and moved my Jimmy over into my dads garage so clear some space. I put my 70 in and got started on the painless (hehe) wiring harness.
I got everything in, got all the wires roughly where I wanted them and started connecting. I got the entire engine bay hooked up and even changed the positive battery cable on the starter in the process also. The starter is a major pain solo when you don't even have the truck on jackstands.. LOL I also got the headlight switch wired, steering column and ignition. Wipers are done also. I think the only thing I've got left is rear tail lights, dome lights and parking light on the back and some A/C stuff. The A/C doesn't work and I didn't get the new A/C harness so I'm not as concerned about that. And btw.. my hands are sore from all the crimping and wire stripping in 23 degree weather yesterday morning. I got a quote of $500 from a shop to do this for me and even with the satisfaction of doing it myself.. It might have been worth it Pictures soon if I can borrow my GF's camera

Re: Friday Progress...
Just so you know, its awesome that your doing your own work. This way if it messes up you only have yourself to blame. LOL JK.
It is well worth the time and money saved to do it yourself, that extra $500 you have can go to another good cause on the truck. Keep up the good work, can't wait for some pics.

Re: Friday Progress...
I will try and post some pictures. I don't have a camera so I will have to borrow the GF's but I'll see what I can do. In a few places all I've done is make connections, haven't cleaned it up too much. I want to make sure everything works before I cut wires too short.. LOL
