my power brakes
I have disc on the front drum on the back while I drive and apply brakes sometimes the peddleand brake funtions normally, but I could drive 3 more blocks and apply brakes and man the peddle is hard and it seems there is hardly any brake. then I could drive 6 more miles with normal brake and peddle and then well maybe they are still and maybe not, can you guys help me out with this, because someday, well Im not gonna finnish that sentence

I vote for a vacuum or booster problem. Do you have a big cam? If so you may not be getting enough vacuum all the time to operate the booster.

my vote's with the booster as well..not holding vacuum. or building enough vacuum to operate correctly. how's the rubber grommit around the check valve. is the booster new or old?

the booster is factory the rubber vacuum seal for the vacuum line i dont knoe it looks ok but I dont realy know

I Agree With All The Above. You Can Disconnect The Vacuum Hose. Stick A Gauge On It And See What You Reading Is. If Its Less Than 14 -15 Inches Replace The The Fittings And Hoses. If More The Diaphram Is Bad. I Will Bet Its Your Hoses Being That It Happens Only Sometimes
