rear 8 inch drop and notch
i was just wondering,i dropped my truck 8 inches in the rear and it has coil springs and the rearend is right at an inch from the frame,do you guys think a bolt in small notch will be enough or will it hit the frame alot,i just dont want to cut the bed,thanks for any help guys.

Typical suspension movement is about 4": 2-up; 2-down. A bolt-in c-notch would work if you don't carry much of a load.
How did you arrive @ the 8" drop?

used 6 inch springs from early classics and 2 inch blocks from classic performance and pinion shims from them also and just need a notch.

I have a similar set-up right now, just home-made blocks instead of manufactured ones. I installed the bolt-in c-notch and I don't believe it has ever bottomed out (of course, luggage and my dogs are the heaviest things my truck carries.)
