anyone ever put a late model dash into our trucks
Has any1 on here ever done or seen done a new model like 98 up dash into our trucks, if so how much modification is done 2 the dash and 2 the truck as far as fit goes, if any1 has an pictures or knowledge on this plz post Thanks Chad

I've seen it done a few times, and it looks really slick! Apparantly the only major challenges are the steering column, and the air box ducting. Actually removing the old dash, and mounting the new one appears to be fairly straight forward, and the electrical should be reasonably simple as well.

I know that the 1989 dash insert is different the ours the holes around the readio area dont line up. If u look at ur radio area u will se a little bit of metal to the side were as in 1989 they covered it i think a little metal work might be involved but i just wanted a bolt in so i didnt us it.

I ran across some pictures of a build up someone was doing a few years ago. I hope they don’t mind me posting their pictures. It looks sweet! If they are a member here, hopefully, they will post more and give us the scoop.
