67 LWB going to the scrap yard in 30 days

So if you see something you need, post it here and i'll cut it out. the truck is being stored about 2 hours from me, and i don't plan to get back up there until Mar 10 at the earliest. my plan is to see if anyone wants parts now, make a list, then pull them all at once and ship them the following monday.

Most of the bed is in pretty good shape. There are a few dents and some rust, but i'm guessing someone will see something they need.

the dash is uncut, but i'd be willing to cut it.

It's a 6 lug setup with drums all the way around. Trailing arms and cross member are gone, and the P side fender is shot, but the trim is good. the axle is an open 12 bolt, had some metal in the oil. bed floor is shot. not even worth cut pieces from. The grill guard is posted in another thread as are some of the other parts.

Oh, and the hood is still there (not pictured) with all of the letters. no dents that i saw, and no holes. very slight surface rust in a couple spots. The O has one peg that is broke, but there is still enough there to keep it in place... just glue it or something. $40 for the hood, no shipping

The D side fender is ok. has one small rust hole near the door, and one dent in the lower cup. that dent would be covered by a factor bumper though. also, the D side inner fender is still in good shape. $40 for both the outer and inner D side fender. no shipping

Please no PM's!! Post what you want here.

At this point, if the piece is less than 2' x 2', i'm thinkin around $10 per part. Tell me what you want, and your zip, and i'll get you a quote w/ shipping ASAP.

I do take PayPal and Money Orders.

nope, it's junk. handle is bent, gate is bent, and has holes in the bottom. at most, the lettering may be good, but probably not worth cutting out and shipping.

Where in Iowa is the truck...

I'd be interested in the steering column and possibly the rear end.

picking up should be no problem

Re: 67 LWB going to the scrap yard in 30 days

3 very small items for a buddy.

1. The neutral safty switch if this truck was a powerglide

2. Again if powerglide, the PRNDL lens from the column.

3. The rubber stop(block) the gas pedal hits on the floor. Accessible from the engine side of the firewall.

One more as I think about it - again if powerglide - the kick-down linkage rod from the carb all the way down to the transmission. Maybe 3 pieces total? A rod from carb, a lever type setup on the bellhousing(?), and another rod to the transmission.

Shipped to zip 98407 Tacoma, WA

i didn't look to close, but the P side corner might be good. it does have a lens in it, so the chances are pretty good that it's in good shape. when i go up, i'll cut it out if it is in good shape and PM you a pic.

$10 + S & H and i'll leave the light and lens in it.

** edit **

just realized you are in iowa. if you want, you can come get it if you are close to waterloo to save the shipping. might be worth the trip if you're looking for other parts. PM me with your location

Re: 67 LWB going to the scrap yard in 30 days

it was a powerglide, but has a 350 in it now. I'm not sure if the lens is still the PRNDL one or not, but if it is, i'll pull it. it's probably not in great shape though. the linkage is all 350 linkage, so no luck there.

when i go up there next i'll pull the parts and PM you the pics.

brak is first in line on the column.

i'm waiting to see if i can sell the rear wall before cutting the roof. also, i think there is rust along the drip rail, but i will look the next time i'm up there.

when i pull the engine/tranny (that same weekend) i'll look to see if the tranny member is good or not. $10 + S & H for it

the mirror is good and clear and not cracked if i'm not mistaken. $5 + S & H for the mirror

How about the shift indicator pointer? I dont' need the lens or the chrome part, just the pointer itself. Nobody makes 'em aftermarket that I can find, only the 70-72 style. Thanks, stovebolt

1badSS/70STOVEBOLT

brak has claimed the column pending payment. if he doesn't take it, i'll check the pointer to see if it's good or not. if my memory is right, it's not.
