Question Comparison sites

Are there any web sites that give good descriptions of options by year on these trucks?

Thanks

OK,

I just purchased a 72 Cheyenne Super. Truck I have been wanting for about 10 years. Just never had the $$ to do so. Well, now I do.

What makes it a Cheyenne Super? Is it the interior only? Are there other stock things that add to this that the other 3 models in 72 do not have?

Thanks

Ok, you are my new best friend.

Do you just have this all in your head or is there a site somewhere that gives all this information?

I guess I just need to go to a book store and find it huh?

Thanks

johnnyp, you have a couple inacuracies in your listing there.
Cigar lighter was not in the ash tray
only one steering wheel available
Upper side molding was an option, lower side trim, with wood grain was included.
Chrome bumper was included in package.
Bright pedal trim, knob trim, tail light trim, window trim, and wing vent trim included.
Bright side marker lights included.
Cargo light included.
There are quite a few more I can not think of at the moment.
Also many many more options, Including,

wide rims...ect.
Step bumper was never installed by Chevrolet..only dealer.

Clocks were not an option.

What on earth is a "glide out under body spare tire carrier"?

I have never heard of that before

johnnyp said that a Cheyenne had a bench seat with full depth padded seat and back rest. I'm looking to buy a seat cover for my 72 C10 stepside, and I was considering the black houndstooth cover that I believe was originally on the higher end trucks. Were different size bench seats available, and if so does that mean I need to settle for the base cover?

I was sort of set on the the houndstooth - it's the Alabama fan in me.

Thanks,

Please, please, please ingore my previous reply to this post. Man, am I embarrased. Longhornmail is absolutely right about errors in my previous post. I had a serious brain fart when I posted. I grabbed the information from some files I keep and I didn't notice that the info was for the 73-87 models. To make it worse, I can't find my info for the 67-72 models. I deserve what ever tongue lashing you guys want to give.
