Info on brake lines for crossmember swap

I was wondering if anyone would have any info on which brakeline set-up they used on a '73-91 3/4t crossmember change. I was planning on using the mastercylinder and booster from a '71 or '72. I would like to use a pre-bent kit. I just bought my rear lines from Inline Tube and they said they did not offer a kit for this popular change. I am thinking about using the line set for the donor truck and making the necessary changes to install. Any help to keep me on the right path would be appreciated. Thanks.

bend your own lines, its easy just takes a little time but in the end you have the lines where you want them

Re: Info on brake lines for crossmember swap

I used the lines, prop valve, master and booster from donor truck. The existing brake lines ran behind crossmember and looked difficult to hook up to caliper hoses and use factory brackets to hold hoses. I did run a line back and tied in existing rear line w/ coupling. I just noticed you're working on 3/4 ton. This was a 67 1/2 to I'm refering to. Hope this helps. Greg

Re: Info on brake lines for crossmember swap

Thanks Greg, That is kind of where I was going with this. I have a '85 GMC 1/2t that I was looking at for the idea on line placement. I also have a friend with a '72 1/2 power disc that he let me peek under. The difference in line placement for the bendix lines is quite different. I didn't know if there was something out of the box available. Lane
