Step side fenders

I have a 73 or later stepside bed on my truck right now. Would some 67-72 fenders bolt right up to it or would I need to get a whole bed?

Re: Step side fenders

Bolt holes are different but can be redrilled but the steps have to be changed too.

Re: Step side fenders

I am looking at buying a 67 shortstep with the 73+ bed in it aswell. Yeah like sneakysnake said, I think the bolt holes for the rear fenders don't line up and have to get redrilled plus the step is different aswell. I am looking at just buying a used bed from one of these guy on here...either step or fleet if I buy the truck.

Re: Step side fenders

This should have everything you need to know

To do it "properly" the step area needs to be modified on the bedside.
