I'm Back
Well for those of you who noticed and those of you who didn't, I am back. I had a family crisis that I had to tend to that was not fun in my own personal life. I got it past me and things I think are starting to look up. I quit my out of town job to work closer to home and improve my family life. I had a couple of hanging parts transactions that I am wrapping up to two board members. Sorry about the inconvenience guys but I will get it straight. I pm'd you two gentlemen. Glad to be back on here and glad to be able to find a job 15min from my house instead of almost two hours and living out of town most of the time. I am also taking some much needed time off to enjoy life and slow down a bit. Thanks for listening and great to be back on the greatest board!!!
P.S. HeHe! I get to start back on my projects again too. I missed them!! |

"It ain't always about the $$$!!" Is it?
Not that I would work for free but working for/with the right people/company and having a life outside of work hours is worth something.

Re: I'm Back
Panel you are right. I am taking a slight paycut but without paying for an apartment out of town plus the gas I was spending driving back and forth not to mention I will be home about 20+ hours more a week with my family is definitely worth it.

Re: I'm Back
I had a chance to move up the ladder but I would have had to move up to Detriot...My thought was that one can always find a good job but not a great wife and family. The misses wanted to stay on the farm lands of Ohio plus it would be tough to be a Buckeye fan in Micheeeeeeeegan.
Welcome back!!!

I received a nice note from 72CSTC5 about a parts transaction that was in the works between us when his problems started. All I can tell you is if you see parts in the "for Sale" area posted by him don't hesitate to jump on them. He is a standup guy for sure.... Good luck Carlos... LockDoc

Re: I'm Back
Lok, Grease thanks for the kind words.
Keith, I haven't forgot about you buddy, My Stoked Out Specialties shirt was still hanging in the closet when I got back and the hat still ther too!! I need to get out and visit the shop some day. I am going to take some much needed time off before I start my new job. I called the owner of the new shop I am going to work for and he said take as much time as I needed before I start. Pretty cool huh? Just got back from Beaumont from picking up my 2wd Blazer frame. Boy that drive SUKD!!! Glad I do not have to that anymore. |
