Junk Yards in Alabama?

I'm in Montgomery Alabama for the next month and a half for some military training.

Are there any good junkyards in the vicinity that have our trucks still in them?

Re: Junk Yards in Alabama?

Looks like someone is going to Maxwell! My brother-in-law retired out of Maxwell a few years ago.

I can't specifically tell you were to go, but I remember going to a couple up towards Tallassee AL. This was years ago (15-20) but I'm sure there's still some yards around. Check with some locals, they'd know. If you do go into the yards, carry a stick, and watch out for snakes. You might want a small bottle of ammonia, and some Q tips for the chigger bites too.

Good Luck!
