Internal or external? That’s the question….

Trying to figure out if I want to go internal or external balance on my 383 conversion. Summit sells two Eagle cranks sets, one internal and the other external.
I want to get an idea what this will cost before I start buying stuff.
The way I see it, the internal setup will allow me to keep my flex plate and harmonic balancer. Also seems to me that the internal balance would last longer. JMO.
I’m going to call summit and see if it will require more clearance work on the block.
LMK,
s/t

Re: Internal or external? That’s the question….

Am I correct about using the stock HB & flex plate?
Summit won’t be able to help until Monday.
Thanks,
s/t
