Lower Door Panels and UPS

I ordered the door panels from GMC Pauls for my 70 Stepside and got them on Saturday. UPS seriously damaged one of them. About five inches of the edge was crushed and the front bent which pretty much made it unusable. I can't imagine what they put on top of it to crush a steel panel! I called and talked to Les and he took care of me the same day. Thay are shipping me a new panel out today. Thanks Les. Anyone else have problems with UPS?

Re: Lower Door Panels and UPS

UPS story... I'm living it right now.....Back up a week , I buy an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake from a guy on e-bay , send him my shipping info , he swaps 2 of the numbers for my house address 326 insted of 236..... UPS tries to deliver to 326....there is no 326 , they send it back to local dist. , somebody decides I moved to Florida...not !!! still here in PA , I call guy who shipped , he calls UPS , lady says she'll change the address , she doesn't , now the intake is on the truck for Florida , no way to stop it , goes on truck for delivery in Florida today , I call shipper again , he calls UPS again , they say when it comes back on truck from delivery it will go on north bound truck for delivery on March 1st...... I hope !!!!!

Re: Lower Door Panels and UPS

The local driver I have for UPS is great, but anyone above him seems to be challenged mentally They main UPS service center is only about 1-2 miles from the house so I have dealt with them a lot. If I am shipping out, I prefer DHL for just so I won't have to deal with those weenies at the center.
