Where do I find the serial number on the frame of a 69-70 pickup? I think the undercarriage has been changed, and I'd like to check it out. Thanks, TF

Anyone? I'm thinking about swaping in a differnt frame as well.

The easy one to find is on the drivers side frame rail, in the engine compartment, by the front of the engine.

Is it stamped into the steel, or is it on a plate?
Will it match the body #?

Stamped in the steel on top of the frame rail. You will have to do some cleaning/wire brushing to find it. It should match the VIN
