Brake question????
I just replaced my brake system, brake boooster and master cylinder, wheel cylinders, calipers, pads etc. on my 72 Blazer. What is the proper way to adjust the rear brakes? There is no adjustment hole without removing the tire. If someone could give me some insight on this I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks David

Re: Brake question????
IF no hole, adjust the brakes till you can't turn the back wheel/drum, then loosen it just enough so you can turn it by hand. You will need to repeat that after a few weeks of driving as the shoes seat in. Your self adjusters should adjust when you back up applying the brakes~~. Your parking brake should start to hold when 1/2 applied and lock tight before the pb pedal is fully depressed. The brakes on these old trucks can be a PITA to bleed due to the proportioning valve. Hopefully that wouldn't be a problem to you~~. Huck
