how do you remove light socket from front turn signal?

how do you remove light socket from front turn signal? my bulb is not making good contact. and i think i need to replace socket.

push and twist counter clockwise

Andy - I think he is asking about the socket itself. Best way is to buy a new (another) turn signal bucket. The socket is crimped in place to keep water and roadgrime away from the wires.

Try to clean the dirt/corosion with a small pick or file. You might be able to get it clean enough that way.

thanks guys. you right bob. im speaking of socket. it just doesn't seem to be making good contact goes out when i shut door or hit bumps. im gonna try a wire brush first.
