want easy way to air rear 78 blazer

I was wanting to bag rear of my blazer,fr. is done now.Is easy with truck as can take box off,I getting tired of laying on my back.I was thinking of 2 in. blocks and removing some springs and using one of those camper type air helpers. All I want this year is to go down 2-3 inches so It matches the front.I have a notch and is flipped already.I've also seen what I think they call a cantilever setup where there is a 2-2 sq. tubing going from fr. hanger to axle with the u-bolts,but I don't see any panhard bar etc.in these photos. What stops rearend from pulling out or going side to side. This way looks fairly easy to do wilh no or little welding. Thanks

I didn't take the bed off when I did my rear bags. It was a little more work, but not much. I would think it would be the same on the blazed.
