Re: split seat?

Back in 98 I replaced the split seat in my 92 GMC 1 Ton Duallie with a seat out of a 96 Chevy pickup. I gave my 92 GMC seat to my nephew.

He put it in his 72 C-10 without much trouble. Once he got it installed it looked real good.

Re: split seat?

Do all the holes for the bracket and floor line or is drilling required?

Re: split seat?

I'm putting in a '91 CHevy regular cab bench - you can reinforce it in the right spots, it's foam so it bounces less than a stock seat, and it doesn't have the headrests on it - plus it's pretty comfortable - (mine's a '70 with the gas tank under the bed) - I'll post pix when it's done.

You'll have to do a little drilling and bracing for the middle and rear mounts. It is easy and well worth the effort.

Re: split seat?

Putting the 96 seat in my 92 GMC Duallie required some drilling.

Also when my nephew put the seat from my 92 GMC in his 72 C-10 he had to do some drilling.
