Problem Help

250 ENGINE idles okay, but put it in gear and it shakes and misses...........plugs, cap, wires and fuel filters have been changed too............. Funny thing is it will bogg down on take off be once it is moving not to bad............... Also, it seemed to run worse when this stuff was changed.

You checked the timing, fuel filter and air filter?

Try a major cleaning on the carb.

Check for vaccum leaks where the intake meets the head and the base of the carb. Spray carb cleaner or w-D40 around those areas while the engine is running, if there is a leak there you will hear the engine rpm change. Also check the dist shaft for wear and play, check this with a dwell meter or manualy wiggle the shaft rotor is attached to, should be no play side to side.
