Disc brake swap on the Scrap yard truck

Here are some pics of the scrap yard truck getting updated to ’72 disc brakes. The spindles came from my rust bucket (that thing is coming in handy for parts!) All new ball joints, tie rod ends, calipers, rotors, and pads are going back on.

I had posted about doing a 6 lug disk swap using 90’s model ¾ quarter ton rotors, but those rotors won’t work because it does not have a hub built in (they mount on a sealed bearing hub).

So I decided to go with the good old 5 lug swap. Been a fun couple of days working on the old truck, can’t wait to get it back on the road.
