Pics of fuel lines
Could someone please post pics of clean looking fuel lines from the fuel pump to the carb? I have a BB 396 and I can't get the line from the pump to the Holley carb without going around the radiator hose that connects to the water pump. It works, but doesn't look too good the way it's sticking out. Thanks.
Ronnie

Re: Pics of fuel lines
These are some pics off of my old motor, not exactly what you looking for, I'll try to get some pics from the pump on my new motor later on today.

Re: Pics of fuel lines
The ones I used to have were bent to go between the lower hose and the block. If you use a good tubing bender you can make a tight enough bend. I don't have any pics, but I sold the lines I had to Bill72BB. One was for a q-jet and the other was for an Edelbrock. Maybe he could post up a pic for you.

Re: Pics of fuel lines
That's what I would like to do, but I'm not sure I could bend the tube this sharp without it crimping. May be a dumb question, but is there a 90 degree fitting that will attach to the fuel pump so I can run the line straight up?

Re: Pics of fuel lines
Thanks for the pics.
My problem is the outlet from the fuel pump is pointing more towards the front and my lower radiator hose doesn't curve forwards like it appears yours does. So I have to go under and around it making the fuel line stick out too far and look kinda stupid. No offense if someone on here has there's set up this way; if you could see how bad it looks on mine, you'd understand. If there's a fitting that can come out of the pump and turn up 90 degrees I think it'll fit, I just haven't had a chance to look for one. Can someone tell me if they even exist? Thanks!

Re: Pics of fuel lines
Careful there rophle1, that says that it's for 1/2" line, it may not be, but that's what the description says, and I don't think you're running 1/2" line, maybe you are, lol, again, I'M not sure. Justin

Re: Pics of fuel lines
Mines pretty boring. Elbow off the pump, 2" hose then the filter. Then fuel hose up to the carb. Like I said, boring...

Re: Pics of fuel lines
Thanks for the heads up, Justin.
Corn, engines are never boring. I get a smile on my face even when I'm working on my lawn mower engine.

Re: Pics of fuel lines
Hey no problem, I know I stretched 5/16 line onto a 3/8 fuel filter to siphon fuel out of my tank, and filter the rust out, but I didn't think you'd want to stretch your 3/8 to a 1/2 or even your 5/16, yikes, . Justin
*Edit: Here's a link to what I think you need, it's a 3/8 to 3/8, unless you are running 1/2 with the big block. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
