Chicken or the egg?

I just picked this 72 Cheyenne Super 4x4 SWB yesterday in Arizona. I have a paint question regarding the factory two tone application. The trucks cab, doors and front fenders look like the Dark Olive was painted over White. The bed however looks like White was painted over the Dark Olive. Was this how it was done? Need the info for repaint. Thanks.

Re: Chicken or the egg?

I had to pay up for it, but it was worth it as I've been looking for it for 5 years. Needs some work but who cares. Can't wait to get started on it.
