Need to know what Diferential you have there. like 10 bolt , 12 bolt, what gears you have in there. Then we can possibly help. I just did install an Eaton posi in a 12 bolt with 373 gears. ....

Re: posi:)

I think I may have overpaid for my posi. Picked it up from a guy that looks like he frequents the pick-n-pulls a couple times, daily.
12 Bolt Posi with 373' with 6 lug drums in place setup for coils with the track bar = $550

Let the beatings begin...

How did that work for you Larry? I bought the Eaton Posi unit with 3:73 Richmond Ring & Pinion, Moser axels and all the bearings, shims, and goodies needed to finish the install. Do you like the feel of it going down the road?

ok, i'll start... I just found a 12 bolt 6 lug 3.73 w/posi 2WD coil rear at the local yard, came from a 69/70....

paid $35 (+$10 for the torch) I have to admit that was a lucky find. Noticed the truck, opened the glove box and my jaw dropped...had a 6 banger too but not sure what engine it was...
