it needs rockers and a few odds and ends. it runs out good i got it for a little under 2 gran. i think i paid about $200.00 more than i should have for it. but i needed a truck and it runs good. it also has new tires.

Re: my new project 72 swb chevy
Wow Bill! I didn't know you actually ever intended to drive one of these. I thought you just took them apart and sold the pieces to the rest of us to keep ours rolling! Seriously, looks like a great start!

Re: my new project 72 swb chevy
Nice find!
Guys around here tell me all the time, "I wish I could find a nice old project truck". I just shake my head, because good examples can still be found if you just look! Your new truck is a perfect example, love it. |

Re: my new project 72 swb chevy
i keep one from time to time and fix it up a little from my parts i have laying around. i will keep it and drive it around till someone wants it more than i do.last one i fixed i had it about ready for paint and drove it to town and a guy offered me more than i could turn down for it . so he drove it home . i have had around 70 of these trucks and i have fixed up and drove about half of them. bed floor is nice and straight has 3 or 4 small rust holes about the size of a dime. cab is a 8 1/2 out of 10. drivers door is a 9 1/2 pass. door is a 7 1/2 driver fender is a 10 bed is all around about a 7 sides need some work.
