Fresh Gears and ready to roll!!!
Just got Killer back from the shop tonight with a fresh set of 3.08 gears. Man what a difference a few days makes. I only use him strictly as a cruiser and those 4.10 gears had him begging for some relief @ 65-70 mph. Not counting the new gears I got by for $175 which ain't bad in my book or Killers. This was by far the best upgrade we've made.

People call me a fool for taking out 3.73's and putting in 3.08's in my last 2 trucks. I sure love cruising at 70 nice and calm without the expense of overdrive trans though.

i have the stock 3.07 gear and im glad ive got them, nice to know you and your truck will be happier cruising around now

Don't you have a little less pep around town? I've got 4.10's and they are zippy driving in town, but struggle on the freeway.

Getting kinda tired of cruising at 60 myself but It's nice to have pulling power. Two weeks ago I pulled 4 palm trees out with granny low.

I went from 373 to 308; love them!! Most of my driving is highway though, but it still hauls a yard of dirt on a trailer just fine...

Man believe me killer hasn't lost a step. The pep is still there. Besides we don't have any palm trees to snatch on round here and if i do find some I 'm sure Mr. Workin Longhorn will help me out. Only pulling will be is a jet ski. Gott get a hitch first.

hey killer is your truck lowered, im doing one very similar to yours. cant decide whether to lower it just a littler or not.
