Disc brakes from a 87 to 65 NEED HELP!
I have a front clip off of a 87 chevy and I was wanting to use those brakes and spindles on my 65 chevy. I heard to use 87 chevy balljoints in the 65 chevys control arms? Is this the correct way to do it? Would the steering still bolt up the same to the spindle or would I need to change that to 87 too? Also I saw that summit racing has the DJM spindles but the year only goes up to 86? would those be fine for my truck?

if your going to power steering, just use all the linkage from the 87 as well. i just used the whole crossmember, control arms, spindles, and all from my donor truck. it just bolted in.

Sounds good man thanks a lot. I also have the motor out of that 87. Its a fuel injected 350. I was wanting to make it carburated. Someone told me that I need a special intake? It this true or will just any carburated intake fit?
