Well i have been looking for seats for my '71 for a LONG time. I took some used Ford parts I had at work and took them to my buddy who owns OKC Pick up parts. I took him some running boards, front drivers and pass door glass, and pass power mirror, factory radio. Parts I had laying about for some time, He gave me these seats and I found this column sitting in a 91 van. Don't know if it is even useable looks pretty rough. But i am very happy with the seats, especially for the price! Just got to the the wiring done on the rest of the truck and drop in the new motor and trans. Should have it done and at the board meet this July.

Those seats will probably take a lot of rom. If you are 6 foot tall, or real short for your weight... don't expect to be happy with them.

I have those same seats in my 72, I'm 6'4, 250lbs, and like them, kinda get sore knees after 3 or 4 hours of driving but thats about it

I run the same in my Blazer. Word to the wise, shore up your mounts to the floor for those seats. THe floor wasn't designed for the stress that an integral mounted seatbelt will place on it. I used 1/4" thick plate to distribute the load on mine.

You don't want to have the seat come off the floor with you in it in a wreck..Kind of defeats the need for the seatbelts!

I've heard a lot of the fleet drivers that come through our shop who drive these new GM trucks, complain about them. We have a few new rail road trucks where they had us remove the seats and install some aftermarket ones when the stock ones were hardly used. And personally, they kill my lower back after just 30 or 45 min driving.

I love mine. I can see with a lot of seat time where the seats can be a pain, but I crank the lumbar up on it and it feels a lot better. I don't always putt around with the lumbar support cranked up, just after long rides or off road. I've found taking my Costanza sized wallet out of my back pocket works wonders too.

My seats are way better than the junk I pulled out thats for sure.

(I might have a set of 6 way power units just like those that my dad needs to unload if anybody else is looking. I'm not sure if he got rid of them or not)

Well if they don't work for me thats ok i will try something else, couldn't beat the price.
