66 chevrolet body on 76 chevrolet 4x4 frame??
can this be done? i know some modifications would have to be done but would i be getting in way over my head on this one? please help, i only have a couple days to get my hands on this 4x4. thanks for any help or suggestions.

It can be done, I've seen some done. Just have to relocate body mounts and various parts.

the 66 frame and 76 frame are the same width.it might be easier to swap the front axle and springs into the 66.the two wheel drive suspensions will interchange.

Does your truck have a coil rear suspension,if yes then Id just use the new 4x4 frame,the newer trucks have the body mounts for the cab inside the frame so you will have to use the ones off your truck.Also the frame isnt quite the same so a body lift would be needed.PM Mudder,he did this with a newer frame on a 67 body.
