Changing 4x4 Blazer to 2x4......what do you recomend?

I have a 1972 Blazer that is in good running condition but needs a good bit of work otherwise. I have not decided 100% if I am going to do a small lift and some 35's or turn it into a topless slammed driver for my daughter.

I know the wheell base is different (shorter) than the trucks of that vintage. I have several rolling 2x4 frames so the components will not be a problem.

What is the easiest, quickest or BEST way to turn this thing into a 2 wheel drive?

Thanks

Fastest way is to axle flip the rear and bolt in a 2wd front crossmember

But if it was me ..........................................................................

I'd want trailing arms in rear (You can get everything of a coil spring truck)
You would still need the front crossmember (Again all from that same truck)
And lots of lil odds and ends (There are several threads on this just search)
