prices of these trucks?

it might just be me, but it seems like these trucks/ and parts arent bringing as much money as they used to. i went to a swap meet today and bought a real nice set of matching doors, complete w/ everything for $25... and a real nice original fender for 25 and another good drivers side door for $20.
and, a friend of mine has a 72 SWB with a runnig straight 6 that has normal rust, and an extra a/c cab and nice fenders, and cant sell it for $1400???

i paid $1800 like 3 years ago for my 71 LWB 4x4, and i thought it was a good deal then?

Arrow Re: prices of these trucks?

I love these truck's and alway's have but the truth is THEY ROT TO THE GROUND ! list a clean one in short bed and it will bring good money fast , rust just kill's these truck's , my 67 is the most rust free one I have ever had and it still needed rocker's part of the cab corner's and radiator support , my cab floor is rust free and bedside's are rust free bed floor is rust free but dented badly , watch ebay they are very very few good 67 to 72 truck's ever listed but when one is put on it sell's high and fast , if these truck's did not have the rust problem's they would be high dollar !!
long bed's and GMC's just won't ever be worth the big money
in the future a CLEAN and I mean CLEAN C10 short bed will bring high money !
