Re: 72 OEM chevy grill.
The new SS ones, YES I SAID SS, are around $500 for inner and outer
Me personally I would rather go that route if mine was to incur damages.

Re: 72 OEM chevy grill.
I'm 99.9% sure that's what I saw at Super Chevy, Tim Christian had one
with a billet insert and it was right around $500 complete, it was sharp. Nope, not SS, it's chrome steel like the one in the linky listed below http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=230608

Re: 72 OEM chevy grill.
I have had my eye on one for a while...Been some horror stories on fitment, so I am being hesitate and patient, but your right, for a custom truck they really set it apart...

Re: 72 OEM chevy grill.
If you guys are talking about the chrome steel outer(w/billet insert) that LMC sells, they fit like s#!*. I have one on my 'burb and it will need some slicing and dicing to get a good fit.
I will be trying to find a nice factory outer and will mount the insert in that, when budget allows. |

Re: 72 OEM chevy grill.
Well my nice wife suprised me and bought the OEM grill. $523.00. I will have to say the quality vs the aftermarket is far superior. I will have to get the mounting kit seperate.
