what do you think?

I've located a 67 with a 283/4 speed combination. Body is straight but it does have some rust on the floor and under the door on ther drivers side.

Looks nice and real straight. Those are normal places for rust. Especially here. Jeff.

Welcome to the board. Where are you stationed? I'm on Carl Vinson. Do you already have a truck from this era? Just looking to get another?

So how much is he asking for it. I bought mine in May in Tacoma. About the same condition with the 396/4 speed for $500. Those trucks are plentifull here. I see more of them than I do new trucks it seems . The weather is pretty mild and it seems to agree with them. Ive heard horror stories from guys in other parts of the country about massive rust in the cab and wheelwells. Sounds chills down me back.

I've got one , don't know if it's worth a darn since I never had it on the truck. I'm sure it needs to be rebuilt. Bought it thinking it would go on my manifold but the bolt spacings are different. Measure your intake to see what the spacing is between the bolts ,,, front to back and side to side. If mine will fit i'll send it to ya for shipping cost. I think it came off a '68.

Could you check to see what the shipping is from Ga? Zip code here is 98270. Seems funny to be getting it from you. I just moved up here from St Marys Ga...lol The trucks are in better shape here than there.

autorecycler, I know which shop you are refering to, it's not mine. I about 6 miles south of there on the Burn Road and hidden in the trees. Maybe we could meet some time in the near future.

hello to all. well I picked up the truck today after I gave the state 150 for the right to drive here...lol. The truck came with a camper shell. Truck and topper were both purchased locally. He also thru in the pipes for a duell exhaust system. So I need to have the exhaust fixed, swap the carb, tune it up and fix the rocker then paint it. oh and put a cover on the seat. all in all it is really nice and I'm glad to have another one. We do need to get together and talk trucks. I am sure we have parts that others need. I know I have a new glove box, new under dash wire harness, some lenses and door handles. Much more fun to swap with new "friends" then to mail cross country. Old iron we do need to get together soon. I'm glad that one shop is not yours. he has as many no tresspassing signs as he does bow ties...lol. did not look friendly but I could be wrong.
here is the dite to look at it.

Welcome to Washington.

Rule #1 ... The truck cost $50. Everyone knows that. Catch my drift ? Under $50 on a 10 year old or older vehicle and the state invokes the book value and they have a book value on everything. Over $50 and they take the receipt value for sales tax calculations. Saves a bunch o' money!

Rule #2 ... its a canopy :-)

Welcome to western Washington. Going to Monroe in October?
