Question restated question about spacer part

Okay the 307 with the two barrel and powerglide..I want to keep it orignal...it is a missing the adapter or spacer between the carb and the air cleaner...what does it do...what does it look like?? Does anyone know where I can buy a new one?? If no one does I'll post it...I'm going to join the forum as a supporter regardless soon...just haven't had a chance yet...need a little info on this little piece...I didn't know I needed it until I tried to put it all together tonight....the air cleaner will not clear the fuel line going into the carb...any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Re: restated question about spacer part

As far as what it does the name says it all. (spacer) to fix the problem your having and I think there is a hose attached to it not sure where that goes. It looks like a can with no ends and I'm not sure if there are different sizes/heights or not someone here will be able to help more I'm sure. And as stated before supporting this board will be the best 25 dollars you will spend on your truck. And I have never sold or recived anything from this site (OTHER THAN A GREAT WEALTH OF KNOWLEGE). The hose goes to the pcv valve on the valve cover w/o the oil fill on my 350.

Haven't forgotten. The weather has gone to hell in a hand basket here.

If not tomorrow, Sat morning at the latest.
