need fast help please
trying to put my steering column in but i can get the old one un done in this spot any ideas? it is right behind the firewall

There is a bolt that goes through the shield. Hard to explain, but the bolt is perpindicular to the column. Just pull the bolt, spred the strap and it should slide out. I think that is what is pictured, but your pict is small. Hope it helps.

yeah i figured it out it got the new column in just got to turn the wheell and get it right but man does it drive better
