Welcome to the site. Use to visit a friend that lived in Camrose and worked at Sunshine. Beautiful country.

Re: still going

well....it looks like i'll lose the inline6 and drop my 350 into this one, i'm going to use the wiring harness out of a 86 chevy 1/2 ton, i'll need to do alot of mods to make it all work.....i think!
i hope to keep the 4 speed, but still not sure if it will work.
i'v never done this before....allways done them frame up like my other 55, so if anyone knows about this.....pls let me no!
thanks...max

Cool Re: still going

well...i found a great running 235 for $650.00 today, so i think i will pull the broken 250, and not bother with the v-8 swap. I'll show pic's as i go.

Re: still going

I am usually in Camrose often over the summer. My wife likes the quilt store there and Superstore.

The road to Camrose is gravel so my 59 GMC doesn't get to go, but maybe if there is a cruise night I will make the extra effort.

Re: still going

You may have a little trouble using that manifold on the 235

Just to clarify "The road to Camrose is gravel", roads to and from Camrose are paved, just not the road from the farm we stay on! Don't want those south of the 49th thinking we are hillbillies!

Re: still going

Actually "south of the 49th" would include a good part of Southern Ontario, Southern Quebec, the Maritime provinces......... and the US.

All those places that misunderstand Western and Northern Canada.

Re: still going

The Camrose show in in late May this year, so I guess I will have to miss it as I probably won't be down until July.

I have to ask, are you building two trucks, or is the one in the shop an after shot?
