Me and my husband are going to look at a 67 4x4 stepside for ME!I bought a 67 2wd short fleet for my 15 year old son wich him and my husband have been restoring all winter.It will be his first vehicle.Its been an awsome experience and lots of fun all winter,all out in the garage together.I've always had a interest in these 67-72 and now that my sons 67 is almost done,I thought it would be neat for me to have one also(Ive always been a 4x4 fan)I'll post pisc if we bring it home.

Iagree sounds GR8 to me also. I'm from Pa also wondering if you were close. I'm 20 min northwest of State College.

hi.northeast pa.,about an hour north of scranton.wish me luck.Mom needs a toy too!

my husbands AMC AMX that he just restored is coming home from the paint shop this week so the garage,aka toybox,will be full.Is a addition in order?

any input you guys can give about this year 4x4 to look out for will be appreciated.thanks.

If original it should have a SM 420 tranny, (reverse down & left) and a Rockwell T221 transfer case. (shifter on left side of hump) Not sure if they made any auto 4x4's for that year. No power steering and Closed kuckle front Dana 44 axle and the turning radius is large. Look at the glove box lable and take pics. Post back here and we can give you better feedback.

well,we drove 6hrs.round trip and came back empty handed.when we got there we seen the 67 body was on a different 4x4 frame

Oh well,guess I'll just have to keep my eyes open.thanks to everyone for your comments and what to look for.this board has been a wealth of info.thanks again,and good luck with your projects!
