I want to know if a 69 frontclip will fit on my 79 gmc? I am having the truck built in North Carolina while I am stationed in Hawaii.

Re: will it fit???

define "front clip" if you're referring to the front sheetmetal, no way. if you're referring to the suspension crossmember and related components, its nearly bolt up, but why would you want to go back to drum brakes?

Re: will it fit???

Thanks for the reply. I did not think it would (front clip sheetmetal that is) but just had to ask. My truck is in NC and I am in Hawaii so I just cant go to the junk yard and take a part home, you know.

Re: will it fit???

Yeah, you'll need sheet metal from 73-80 to bolt on
