camaro rally wheels on a c10
i saw a board members truck the other day with what looked like 17" camaro style rally wheels on it. what would the best backspacing be? if i drop a 73-87 5 lug crossmember in will they bolt up to it. ive seen the wheels in a 5x5 lug pattern.

Re: camaro rally wheels on a c10
Assuming an 8 inch wide wheel, you've got the ability to go from 4 inch backspacing all the way to 5 inch backspacing.
The last truck I did 5 inch b.s. though, I thought the wheels were tucked too far under the fenders. I really think they look best with 4.25 or 4.5 inch b.s. overall. I should add that all my stuff has been lowered 4 to 5 inches in the front.

Re: camaro rally wheels on a c10
I have Iroc Camero rims from a late 80's Camero. However the stud holes are slightly smaller then my truck. A real drag as I spent some time on restoring them. I was told that there was no difference on the truck / car 5 bolt arrangement, but there must be?

There is quite a difference. Car pattern is 5 on 4.75 truck patter is is 5 on 5. There's a quarter of an inch difference in the bolt circle.

Here is a picture of mine with the 17 inch Impala SS wheels. They are the 5x5 bolt pattern and will bolt up directly with no spacers or adapters.

Where did you get those rally's and how much $ where they. The larger rally's that I have seen use the stock size 15" center and change the rim size to make it work and it doesn't look quite right to me.....your's do.
