Binding auto shifter....TIP!

All the truck I have had to date were automatics, with a column shifter..and none of them worked for crap.
I was diggin in the Longhorn's column, installing the new cruise control switch, and I decided to investigate this problem a little.
If you rip off the wheel, turn signal assembly, the first colar, then the shifter...remove the colar that holds the shifter handle, and coat all the internials with anti-sieze compound, it'll feel like new!
I just thought i'd pass the info.
