Re: Here's Mine .... 70' Fleetside.
I like that alot!I'm not usually a big fan of rolled pans but for some reason it works on your truck.
Was the stereo moved to the glovebox?

Re: Here's Mine .... 70' Fleetside.
That's pretty inside and out. No markers, smooth. Longbeds are cool and GMC grills look great. And Heck, I don't even know what a rolled pan is but everything sure goes well together.
Love your profile pic - I have wore out a couple pairs of TEVAs

Hello Rollie396, I have no stereo right now. It has taken 9 months to get to where I'm @, there was alot to do on this truck. I'm waiting on the bed wood (should be here in another week or so.) This is the last thing I have to get done before I put it on the road this May. The dash was butchured by the PO so I filled in where the radio should be. I have not quite decided if I will put the stereo in the factory location or not. This could be a good spot for gauges as well. Bed first then budget for a stereo next is the plan for now. esll.

Re: Here's Mine .... 70' Fleetside.
i love the color. i was thinking of painting my truck flat black as well, or would your color be considered satin black?
do you get any trouble for not having any side mirrors, or have you yet to install them? Last edited by 72BigBlockSuprCustom; 03-23-2007 at 02:48 PM. |

Re: Here's Mine .... 70' Fleetside.
IMHO I'd leave the dash shaved like you have it,maybe some subtle pinstriping in that area?I was thinking about something similar to that but I chickened out and kept the radio recess but filled in the radiohole and cut new holes for air gauges.I'm glad you posted those pics cuz I know for sure now that it would look good.
I hear ya on the bed budget,I'm there right now as well and putting in a wood floor is NOT cheap!
