? about PB drop member

This thing is def on my list of things to buy, and I am buying it regardless of the answer... but my question is, why does the truck have to be conveted over to a rack... is there anyway the kit can work with the PS system?

The most obvious answer would be because the crossmember & steering linkage is moved up within the frame.

You would have to raise the steering box + pitman/idler an equal amount & I would bet that's alot of stress on the front rails after cutting the clearance notch.

Couldn't have said it better!

It would only be a matter of WHEN the steering box cracked the frame due to stress, not IF!

Also a rack is a far better design, so while you are updating the suspension, you are also updating the steering to a more modern system as well.
