I know you'll have to change the wiring harness from the double plug under the dash to the guage cluster, but I don't think you'll have to change any other wiring to speak of.

Re: Gage cluster and wireing ?

I got that short wire harnes from the bouble plug to the cluster with the cluster. The rest of the harnes, that double plug and the wiring for the amp gage is what I was concerned with.

Re: Gage cluster and wireing ?

I am doing this now. The gauge cluster wires are different and the main harness also. I just ordered new wiring harness from m&h electrical to redo the complete truck.

Re: Gage cluster and wireing ?

I would think the only thing that would have to change in the wiring would be the amp guage wires. Are the plug in the same under the dash for both clusters. Maybe I would just have to unplug the amp guage from the harness and hard wire it in. I have already changed over to a one wire alt. anyway

This might help too. I found it in the Electrical FAQ.
