Caddy wheel fitment

Will a custom wheel that bolts on to a 63 caddy with 5x5 bolt pattern work on our trucks?

Re: Caddy wheel fitment

back spacing may be a little off, but 5 on 5 wil work on a 5 lug truck

I bet they`ll have same or close back space. Most wheels had same dish back in the good ol`days.

Re: Caddy wheel fitment

Might be a problem with the disc brakes interferring. I know the early car ralleys don't always fit the disc brake years. I know the cars are 4 3/4 and I'm just saying the early car wheels had a different bevel on the backside that rubs on the car calipers.

See if you can fit one before purchasing or return if not.

I have seen the big Buick chrome sport wheels on our trucks. Probably could also go Caddy Wires.

Keep us posted - Bob

Re: Caddy wheel fitment

Those Buicks had either the big finned drums or discs came along in`65,I believe.I`m thinking Rivieras.I know the 2wd 6-lug truck wheels won`t fit in 4wd disc trucks. That would possibly be the only hang-up.But,Caddys would have bigass breaks,I`d think.
