Wheel cylinders
What is the deal? NAPA shows front wheel cylinders for a 1970 3/4 ton 4x4 not available. But the ones I have on my truck with a cast 7 digit number crosses to the same p/n for 67-69 3/4 ton 4x4, even the picture in their parts book looks like mine. Anybody else have any problems finding front wheel cylinders? I checked the lesser stores but all the cylinders they pulled out had 3/8" inlet while mine have 7/16" inlet, the nice thing was that Napa's book had that info, the others did not. Oh well one more reason....

Ask to look at one and inspect it real good. You can always take it back if it don't fit. Just say that the front end must have been swapped out at one point or another.

Don't have jm1 on glove box, I believe the brakes are 12x2. Will pull one and measure tomorrow. What's the best way to balance front drum brakes right to left?

you measn to adjust ? basically disassemble and clena threads of the self adjustors and put pipe thread dope or anti sieze compound on the threads and adjust shoes out until slight drag on drums and then do alot of forward and reverse brake stops to get them out all the way
