Re: Chehalis Wa
It's about 90 minutes down I-5 from here. I am sure we have someone closer. Post a pic and some info. Congrats on the new purchase!

Re: Chehalis Wa
Yeah Chehalis is about the half way point from Portland to Seattle, or Seattle to Portland, depending on the direction you are going. I would hit up the members in between those cities. For example, Longview/Kelso, Centralia, Tacoma, Olympia.
I could check it out for you, but couldn't do it any earlier than May 1st. |

Re: Chehalis Wa
I'm about 20 minutes southeast of Centalia/Chehalis. I've probably seen the truck around even, what's the link to the auction?

Re: Chehalis Wa
I saw the white big block stepside. I though it had a reserve on it and the last listing failed to meet the reserve...or was I just dreaming that? Just from the looks of the pics I could not get excited about it at $3000 depending upon the REAL condition of the running gear. Just the $0.02 from a guy that buys $50-$500 trucks...LOL!

Re: Chehalis Wa
Interesting, I've never seen either of those trucks before.
Going by the massive amount of rust that was covered up on that 4x4, I'd be skeptical about the shortbed. Last edited by Spanky_Pete; 03-28-2007 at 02:48 PM. |

Re: Chehalis Wa
I believe the white one was purchased on eBay not long ago since the guy currently listing it responded to some negative feedback about the purchase of a similar truck. The world turns...LOL!

Re: Chehalis Wa
I'm sure thats what it was."I work for a big company and I'm out of the country"sounded fishy from the start.I have bought several trucks off ebay and craigslist but I have had good phone conversations and contact with each. This time I was contacted by email several times but he wouldn't call me on the phone. No biggie I have 3 trucks to pick up now.2 in ca and 1 in pheonix az.I'm ready for a cross country road trip /truckin vacation.

Re: Chehalis Wa
I saw that same 4x4 for sale on ebay about 5 moths ago but never followed it to the end.
Take the phone number and do a reverse lookup for an address. Last edited by Americanrider; 03-29-2007 at 11:18 AM. |
