Finally getting my 68 1ton done

I have not had time to get this thing done. I got the truck out last weekend and finished the bed. Just some more welding and it will be ready for paint. Not real good but here are a few pics as we were working on it. Here we just got the aluminum floor and did a test fit.

That thing is awsp,e. Just one thing though...did you install the cargo lamp on the older cab, or is that a '69 and up cab?
Also, is the 68 ford Ranger up there a project, or is it just a junker tossed in the side yard? As far as fords go, the 67 - 72 are pretty nice if you ignore he front suspension.

Longhornmail, I added the cargo light to the 68 cab. The 68 Ford in the background is my friend's truck(these pics are at his place) , it is a very nice original.
Gmcblu, I am not going to do anything with it but go on sunny sunday drives or small car show's.

Looks good! If I had a flatbed like that, I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to resist the urge to just haul something though! Nice lookin' truck, congrats!

I got the mud flaps on ebay, not sure how old they are (they were NOS? )but the kinda fit the era of the truck. And yes it has a factory bucket seat.

I am trying to have it done for the all truck show here in Kansas city, Mo on Sept 21-22.

Nice truck Joe, I'm working on a '68 C-30 flatbed myself, But you are ahead of me. I've got a set of NOS trucks flaps, but they are GMC's. Won't go on my Chevy.
