Has anyone used these white gauges?
If you've used this kit, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=001 , does it come with everything to make the cluster look like the one pictured or is it just the vinyl for the gauges and not the lens(where the numbers are painted)? He wasn't clear on his answer so I figured I'd check here.

To me, it looks like just the overlays (no lens). Here's the last picture, which is what you get.

The outside part aound the gauges where the numbers are is just a metal tin inside, I took mine out and spray painted it... the mint green number are on the plastic lense

heres mine, you have to take it apart to put the vinyl on anyway, just shoot the tin with paint

yeah, once you open it up you will see... you have a tin that the gauges bolt to, then another tin the goes over the whole cluster (what I painted white) then the plastc cover that has all the numbers, then the outside bezel that you always see

Not sure why they didnt show that part in the bottom diagram, but pretty much the part I circled is what goes where I pointed...lol,
painted that will get you the white border around the gauges

flip it over and paint the back side white (and everything else in there that is green) and you'll have brighter dash lights, and it'll get rid of thegay greenish hue that the lights give off in there.

Do exactly what 1LoC10 and longhorn Man are telling you to make it look good. Here is a pic of mine with the newer lense (darker green letters/numbers) that glows with LED's. Contact board member byrd for this type of lense. It's the best way to go for a white cluster

I have the white faces on mine too. I love it and it was easy to do as well.
<edit> Here's a shot. I need to do something with the middle. I like the idea of a tach on the right and a fuel gauge in the middle.

No, it does not. If you take the dash apart there is a metal pan on the inside. The pan has to be painted white. This is what makes the "outer ring" on the speedo and fuel gage white and the middle center section white, so it's not needed with the kit. You only need to put the "stickers" over the fuel and speedo gauges. Take a dash apart and you'll see what I mean
I do not have a night shot. I bought the gauges off a board memeber and have not installed them in the truck yet (the pic I used was from the parts board). I'm going to merge them with the rest of my cluster. I hope to add some blueish lights like 70C-10 has.

You would paint the metal part circled in red, and put stickers on the stuff in blue.
