help on a TH350
Guys, I have a chance to pickup a TH350 from a 76 4x4. is the only thing I need to do is to change the adapter from my 72 205?? No spline issues?? Thanks for your advice in advance, I'm not sure the span of years the 72 205 spline pattern was made beyond 1972.......

Re: help on a TH350

Re: help on a TH350
I'm replacing an existing one. 3rd gear is slipping badly and I can't afford to just have it rebuilt. I am seeing TH350's from 4x4's pretty regularly on Craigslist from 73 to 80 so was wondering if I just used my adapter would any of these years fit??

Re: help on a TH350
it should be a bolt in if you already have a T-350.

Re: help on a TH350
Th350 4x4s are a direct bolt in with each other except ones with lock up torque converters and those are easy to spot. 700r4s have the same 4 bolt output and spline count as a th350 but is 2 inches longer, if you ever decided to go that route it will bolt to a 205 t-case and its adapter.
